AP English Poetry Responses: Shakespeare's Sonnet 1

My biggest problem with this poem is the title. A title is like a thesis statement, it sets the tone for the poem and tells the reader what to expect. If Shakespeare is such a great poet and play write why can't he come up with a "Shakespeare's Sonnet 1" is a boring and unimaginative title, especially when it is compared to the rest of the poem which is full of vivid imagery. Maybe this contrast is what he was going for but I doubt it.
